SINGLE BUT NOT ALONE

Be Isolated enough to be content with who God created you to be.

When you don’t understand your singleness, you take it into the marriage trying to make your partner, your make up for what’s deficient in you. You put an unrealistic expectation on another jacked up human being.

Learn to understand that your partner can never and will never feel your emptiness. You have to allow God fill you, give him the time in your singleness fill you.

If you let God, have you in a place of singleness to create in you the character, the work ethic, the intelligence, the emotional health that it takes to be in a real relationship. I promise you, God will allow right persons to come around you.

Pastor Mike, why’d you say persons? Its cause, God doesn’t choose your spouse for you. He brings the right people your way for you to choose from.

In the beginning, God gave man the gift of choice.

You state of singleness is not just important to you, it’s important to God also. He wants to give you Vision, Purpose… He wants you to know who you are without another person.

IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHO YOU ARE, YOU’D ALWAYS NEED SOMEONE TO VALIDATE YOU.
